Amelia
Rina and Gourry meet her for the first time after the battle with Shabranigdo and are immediately frapped by her oddities: Amelia,short, black hair, and big blue eyes, believes to be the ultimate Ally of justice and she behave that way. We don't have to be genius in order to understand that this character was created to tease Sailor Moon, as long as she imitates also the sailor's very long speeches and the poses. But her results are very different from that of the pretty soldiers : villains just ignore her or think she is crazy!
She starts to follow Rina hoping she would teach her the Dragon Slave but later on she enters stablily in the group of the Slayers. At first sight she gives me a bad impression, but then, after the episodes of "character's presentation" she becomes less eager and her justice speeches become less frequent and less absurds (sometimes, and it was a great surprise to me, I realised she was right in what she says) Towards the series, her character improve remarkablly, above all thanks to the strait contact with a blue chimera...
She is the heiress of the Saillune kingdom but (and this is a point in her favour) she never feels above the others because of her rank (not like Martina, who constantly repeats to be the princess of Zoana!).She's interested in all that could be useful to carry the justice in the world: she practices with diligence the white magic, trying always new spells, but she is the only person of the group that doesn't know how to use a sword, perhaps because she doesn't like weapons a lot... the reason is simple: when she was very young, her mother was stabbed, we don't know by whom and why. It's for this reason that, probably; Amelia has decided to become a paladin of the law: in order to try to prevent similar crimes in the world. After the loss of one parent, she had also to bear the loss of her older sister, Gracia, who escaped from house in search of adventures and who, as people say, travels under the name of Naga the white serpent...
